just got a set of 16" alesio 2s but my car seems to be sitting well high and needs lowering how much can i drop it with out them rubbing or getting arches rolled?

before ste gets here and tells u himself - he was running 16" speedlines on a 60drop with no arch mods and it didnt catch, even under heavy load


u might be unlucky and have a rear axle thats slightly off center, if so u may need to get them rolled - but dont worry about it since it will probably only cost 30-40 quid for the rear arches done professionally
someone mentioned at pv that halfords did em for ?20 an arch - i didnt know this but i suppose even thats an option

Don't take it for granted though as i've got a 70 mm drop with arches modified and they rub like fcuk with one in the back and catch on fast corners with no-one in the back :(

what tyres?
ive had speedlines on two Novas with no arch mods, lowerwed 60mm (both) and with 195 tyres. 205 will prob catch.

Have tried 2 different types of 195/45 R16 now, Uniroyals and Yokohama's. Still rub like fcuk but Yoko's are slightly better.
