Welcome to PNG!

The 'loon looks really tidy, what are the rear arches/boot floor and that like on it?

little bit of rust on drivers side reach arch but other than that shes a minter!

already got some 17s to go on here jus awaiting them to be sprayed up!!!

now in need of some lowering springs only want to drop it 35m or something oviously due to the size of the alloys any suggestions?

Welcome mate, Nova looks a good starting point. Keep it simple, 17s will probably be a sod to get on without scrubbing, especially with lowering. Get more pics of it up.

Welcome along chap! More pics of the loom required! Is it china blue? keep it retro and you'll be onto a winnar!

i was smiling till i saw 17's...

to be honest if you get the offset of the wheels right you should be ok with 17's under the round arches (theres a 5 door with 17's on here iirc) and still get away with lowering it.

oh, and wlecome :)

Agreed, seeing as it's a saloon, the nice round arches should swallow 17's with ease.

Welcome mate, funny really as 5 years ago no one would bat an eyelid at the mention of 17's, but now we all go.. Aaghhhhh.. lol

The basic reason is, most of us have fitted 17's with 45 or higher offset, and then we see why you don't do it, the car will not handle well at all, i did it mate on my first GSi, tram lined all over the shop.

BUT it's your car, so do it mate, worse thing if you don't like it then change down to 16-15's with close to 47-49 et offset etc an no wider then 7 inch max.

Any way, looks a lovely nice clean car to start with, so hope you get on well with ti, there is plenty of info to go off from on here, and lots of us will help out if you need guidance with things.

PS: Love the Astra, Ive only got a x18xe imry mk4 for my daily, would love a turbo, but the nova's eat the main of any spare cash! lol

Two door saloons are a thing of beauty!
I think 17's just don't look right on a Nova, let alone the issue of having wafer thin tyres and arch rust inducing contact. I'd swap them for some nice 15's personally.

Welcome ! :)

That's a nice saloon, but echo the posts above about 17's, better fit on a saloon but will drive awful

Very nice Astra as well, must be some spec for that bhp
