are there any differences? would a gsi head run on a gte and vice versa?

im not 100% sure but i think the C16 does not have EGR ports but the E16 does, and remember not all GSI's are C16

will be run on bike carbs so could the egr could be blanked off if its an e16

Yep. Bung up the hole!! I machined a nice alloy bung that whacked it in there. Job done.
That's pretty well the only difference between an E16SE and a C16SE head.
