i posted in the forum a while ago about my 1.4i popping and cutting out.

I now know its the head gasket, cam belt and injection unit!!

how much is this going to cost, is it worth it? anyne wanna by a 1.4i witha recondition engine????? :cry:

vauxhall will prob charge you ?400+ to fix head and clean system out.

You can get another engine for that - even fit a 2ltr lump for ?600!

I appreciate your dilema my friend but stick with it - it will be sorted in the end

im just getting the 1.4i ready to sell, so i can drop a 1.6 into my SRi project, it just seems that nothng seems to go rite.

Then my gran had the cheek to say that i wanted a new ford or something

when u say 1.4i dod u mean 1.4i or 1.4sri?

cheaper to drop gte engine in, but if its an sri id fix it as there much cheaper to insure and are dam nippy :)
