Right finally got my let, bought as a non runner so got it cheap as needs shells anyway engine has a few nice bits like xe inlet new waterpump and cambelt kit afr new backplate and the breather mod has been done, heres a few pics of what ive been up to on it

Nice, should be fun then! a friend of mine has a Let running phase 3.5 with a t34 turbo its a right powerhouse, engines in the wrong car though its in a mk3 astra gsi lol

Right more updates ive got my new crank sent off to road and rally and had it checked and polished ordered new bearings and crank oil seal.http://i726.photobucket.com/albums/ww264/ashleyc17/DSC00868.jpg.
All in now rebuilt bottom end new arp rod bolts turned over crank by hand nice and easy sorry forgot to take pics of the crank going in.
Ive also heat wrapped the manifold which was hard work with it bein the shape it is anyway a few pics

Ohhh camshaft, with seeing a picture of an inlet manifold I assumed you meant that! Crinkle paint looks nice is it hard to apply?

its quite tricky to get right you gotta put 1 coat on leave 10mins then another one leave four hours then a third coat then leave again to get the finish.

I havent been on for a while mate but i never found the tophat, see you have one now anyway though.
