Nova spi transducer, info needed please...

Hi all, ive recently put the transducer in on my c16xe and just wondering what live i should use? i used a switched live, is this right? or should it be put to a perenant live? its just because sometimes im getting a fault code for it and it says vss low or no voltage, could this be to do with the live or do you think i might just have a bad earth?
Any help will be much appreciated.

Yeah done properly, it works, it hasnt put a code up for a while now but it does sometimes, its probably just a bad earth, ill add another 1 to it and see if it helps. Thanks

should i have put it to a switched live from the engine loom or from the car, or does it not matter where i get it from?

As long as its live when you need it to be (with ignition) then its fine.
