whats the easiest way to mark and cut out the holes so the verniers are on show. how to get them in the right place?:thumb:
Not done it before but I imagine... Measure roughly where the centres of the pulleys are using a ruler, knowing roughly where the belt cover sits (in line with the rocker cover ridge). Drill a pilot hole and trial fit to ensure they're in the middle of the pulley bolts. Then draw round the hole with one of those things you use in school lol
Cutting, maybe a dremel?

Yep, you can get them upto four inch IIRC. Maybe bigger actually??

up to 114mm off the shelf in Wickes, which is about 4 1/2 inch
