Some of you may remember my old white car, as seen in my Avatar.

That was sold last November, and I bought a Corsa Sport as a daily for some "comfort and refinement" lol

I was, however, ever since, hankering for another Nova, but a fast one. Being only 19 and only having 2 years no claims, a quick Nova would be pretty expensive for insurance.

So, after a friend offered me this GSi Rep SR, and checking the shell to find one of the mintest shells, I just had to have it....for a very very good price. :thumb:

Here are some quick pics of how it was sat when I first got it.

Major points:

- 300 HP Rated Motorsport shafts and hubs
- Strengthening kit fitted (however missing seam welds so that's on the to do list)
- Fully Polybushed
- Powdercoated Tie Bars & Anti-roll bar

The plan is to remove the overspray on the paintwork, which is coming up well as we found trying with some fine sandpaper.

Current plan is for a C20NE 8 Valve Turbo, but I also have a C20XE lieing around here, so we may opt for the slightly simpler option first.

Thoughts & Opinions Welcome.

I've decided the XE is going to be the most reliable option.

Will still be building a boosted NE once the XE is in, but we want the car out for the end of this season for a couple track days.

Will probably look at bike carbs, and also look at having a few manifolds made up by a fabricator.
