well bin busy today cleaning the underneath of the car and found a few little holes which i patched up and then rust treatment it then black waxoil then a nice coat of black gloss.
i fitted up the tank and started to put rear axle bk on so i can put it bk on the floor.

happy with the results and looks nice and fresh. will put pictures up later as iphone dead

well i was lucky today got a nice early day from work so i had a good couple of hours out the garage and this is the progress.

fuel lines all fitted up plus managed to turn car over to over side to start makinf brake lines and fitting them up,.

the doors are pretty mint. there is a tiny bit of surface rust but a good rub down and there perfect.still have boot lid and few little things left.

i used a 2 mm as the the nova shell is 1.5mm so made it a little thicker for more strength really. i did look for the same thing as you for about three months before i started it but had no joy.

I love that Mini wheels! Are they exist in 4x100 or do you have any modification or it can fit with wobble bolts?

They are 4x100 exact just need the middle spacer so it lines up on the hub tight.

I wanted to keep all the lines for a bit off character and plus once the lid is on u can't see it.

Any one interested in 3 13x8 mini wheels as they don't fit over 2l brakes but ok on any thing smaller. I am really gutted that I ant going to b using these but they just don't fit the front.

£150. You will need to buy the fourth alloy which are £86 on eBay as i do have the tyre which is like brand new.

4x100 is the pcd, the offset starts with ET its how far the wheels sit in or out of the arch. Vauxhalls normally ET49 but te wheels I currently have on my loon are ET28 so they sit close to the arch

Really like this, it looks superb... I'd like to see a colour coded rear instead of the chequer plating though, I've always thought it looked a little tacky somehow. Still think it looks the part though :cool:

I was planning that but I think it just needs that some thing to break it down and a bit of stainless alloy is the one.
