Bonnet release question.

I need help regarding the bonnet release handle. When I got the car this was hanging out. Today when I took out the interior and the shelf below the dash it gave me a bit of room to try and fix this. Can't seem to get fixed in properly. Can anybody tell me what way this goes in or is the lever damaged. :confused:

That looks fairly spot on there but there just a bad handle any way never seen a nova with a hood one that ya don't have to get some one to pull the bonnet at the same time

it looks ok they can be hard to get in right somtimes

i jamed mine in with a bit of wood!

Thats ok then. As long as I know the handle is not broke I will work at it a bit longer to get it to fit.
