Looking for a 2.0 8v to transplant and in my efforts of looking for one i stumbled across a Daewoo Espro which I belive is just the 2.0 8v Cavi/Calibra engine. Was wondering if anyone knew anymore about this and how much it differs from its Vauxhall counterpart?? If any?? For all I've only seen them in pictures visually they look identical, anyone able to enlighten me on this mater??

the one you need is from a cavalier with the 20seh in it. it had 130hp when new, the later ones have 115hp. look on ebay for cavaliers, there is a white project one at the moment.

Why an 8v? Its all the same parts to fit an XE and you get another 25bhp

I reckon the site has gone potty!

8v has more torque where a road user needs it without having to drive like a cnut. Relaxed street sleeper action.

I had 8 valve and put xe in its heavier so cancels most of the extra bhp out and you need solid mounts which are noisy and vibrate.
