Yes, already.

This nail of a Fiesta I have, the handbrake/brake fluid (!) warning light comes on after long periods of braking, I.E going down a hill to a junction and holding the brakes on to slow from say 60 to a stop the light comes on stays on for a couple of seconds then goes off, even if it isn't hard braking.

There is plenty of brake fluid in it (above min below max) it looks fresh enough, the brakes feel spongy-ish to me but a mechanic mate who just scrapped one of these says his were the same, guess I'm too used to more modern brakes.

Could it be a sensor?

Id try topping the fluid right to the top mark and see how that goes, my XR2i was the same once it got below the max mark it would flicker on every now and then in similar circumstances!

Cheers spud I'll give that a try, scared the **** out of me the first time it happened as my Nova did that too then dropped all its brake fluid out the rear wheel cylinder lol

Lol at least the nova told you it was about to do it lol

I didnt know why it was flashing at first till someone told me thats the low fluid warning!

did you really get rid of your nova 4 the fez or have you still got the nova

My Nova used to do the same if it was a touch low under heavy braking with 256's on, pretty much as Spud said anything below max and it would dip the level and slosh forwards under braking triggering the light.

Maybe you should bleed the brakes.

No idea, bought it as is, the car stops when I press the brakes so they work and I can brake hard enough to send me through the window if I ever felt suicidal lol

No, the Nova even in its current condition is worth 20X more than the Fiesta in mint condition and the Nova needs a fair bit work to finish it, including new rear arches and paint. The Nova is sat rusting away in my back yard, come buy it!

:thumb: I believed Spud but a second opinion is always good (that rhymes, kinda)

Maybe I should, I probably wont though.

Gareth may do though lol I have no tools :(

Perhaps as one if the fronts is squeaking a bit, but where these fitted with them? R reg 1.25

how much you want for it lol

How much I want and how much I'd get are wayyyyyyyyyy different lol but if my little plan doesn't get into effect soon it will probably be broken for parts and the shell sold on or scrapped.
