What is needed to change 1.2 to 1.3?

if anybody saw my previous thread, i want to put an sr engine into my 1.2. The engine i have is a 1.2 carb, 1991. apart from the obvious engine, what is needed to convert mine to the 1.3? things like fuel tank, is that all the same? thanks

what about the wiring that plugs into the dizzy? will that just plug straight in or will it be different?

you can just use the 1.2 dizzy

does the 1.3 have a fuel return on the carb?? cos the 1.2 does.

1.2 carb dizzy and 1.3 dizzy should be the same connection

Before fitting engine might be worth doing a quick change of belts and headgasket. Oil and filter then ready to go with nothing to worry about. Just what I would do.

good advice. i'd add that its better to drop the oil from both engines before removing/refitting, cos it is less messy. then refill it when in place.

you need the 1.3 manifold & downpipe, unless you are already running an aftermarket exhaust.
