Got this yesterday so today I gave it quick clean inside and out. No real plans I just want to freshen up a few bits and pieces.

It has only 38k with loads of MOTs and receipts even the one from when the car was sold.

Yeap it came from England, oddly enough it was originally from Chelmsford the same town my last D reg nova mk1 was from, but a different vaux dealer!

I think as we have to travel from Ireland for any decent example of a nova we dont mind where abouts it in England/Scotland/Wales it is.

Thats lovely mate, it's the spit of mine BUT obviously in blue, my mk1 has the rubber gm mats and the old MW/LW radio, old man driver from new, only thing mine was not mint from when i got it, but i know it was solid everywhere, and only need the normal rotten arches and so on replacing, looks all good now though, it's in my sig.

Im not sure it does not state a spec anywhere it is very very basic no rear parcel shelf, no clock ect... anyone identify what model it is or tell me how to check, sorry for spaming your thread mate with pic's of my car this is all it say's on the back

cormac because its guernsey we dont have letters just pure numbers the govener has No 1 lol that is pretty good though you can buy 2,3 and 4 digit plates.

they did two different sizes, the 15" ones were the cavs and the 14" were the nova ones

This Nova makes me jealous....despite all the pain JB is giving me I still really want some of those old-school triangle-hole steelies for him.

Personally because inside I'm about 65, I think you should keep it original - D-reg ones aren't common at all these days!

Yeah its staying standard for now, freshening up a few parts of it here and there over the past few weeks. Hopefully I will get it finished by the spring.

Often thought about a corsa vxr transplant but Im sure the wiring would be fun. I would love a spin in yours some day. I havent expierenced a LET in a nova before.

Got the time this morning to do a few bits and bobs including replacing the headlight and indicator as they were slightly cracked.

All good bodywise when the light was removed.

The rear quarter panels had also warped maybe due to the sunlight..so they got replaced.

This weekend I put on a new back box and fitted the period radio and sorted out the wiring.
