My interior heater (Mk2 SR) only works on the 3rd speed (hot & cold), if i put the dial on 1 or 2... nothing, the fan dosent even spin. Ive tried changing the switch itself, but no change. Fuses r ok, heater obviously works, but only on 3. Any ideas?
(PS: i know its summer, but im sure the winters gunna creep up on us like a slap in the face, so i wanna get it sorted).
Any coments will be appreciated.

fan motor is shagged - there are 2 ballast resistors for running in speeds 1 and 2 - they're prolly shagged
get a new motor assembly - only be a few quid from scrapper
its not unusual. they are a very delicate fan. moisture/water plays hell with them so never leave them too long with the plastic cover off. but in your case its probably as Aragorn says
