1400 SR to GSI

right quick question, got an e16se for my nova which is a 1.4 sr mk2 and was wondering do i need a full car loom from an early gsi or just the engine loom?

complete engine loom only. and then the f13 box, the efi tank etc...... the wiring up is a doddle & has been covered many many times.

you keep all of your old sensor/starter/alt. wiring from the 1.4 & simply fit it to the 1.6.

right perfect. got a spi tank and going run a mpi pump etc just the wiring i wasnt sure on.

then you connect up

big red - battery live
black - ign +ve (original coil feed or it won't start)
green - rev counter
red/blue - fuel pump
brown/yellow - ecu warning light.. splice it into the choke light on the dash.
