all novas have tie bars, they are the forward mounting point for the botom arms, otherwise the hubs would just spread out the side lol the anti roll bar clamps to the tie bars.

it will have been removed as they don't clear the XE manifold, and to refit it you need tie bar lowering brackets.

most people prefer the handling without the bar (except me lol) so i'd just leave it as it is tbh

Ooo im with ya i got a spare in the shed with lowering brackets how does it effect the handling tho? I thought it would be alot better with a anti roll bar

If you have stiff springs on the front, the ARB will make very little, if any, positive difference :thumb: they are often removed as they can cause too much understeer

Its all down to personal preference in your driving style! What works for one person doesnt work for the other. If youve got one, theyre easy enough to fit. So fit it to the car try it and if you dont like it remove it - simple as that!;)

my preference - remove the front ARB, keep one in the rear. Means that the rear handles more of the weight transfer, so less understeer..... in my mind anyway.

Rear anti roll bar can be a worthy investment though.

IMO never ever ever leave home without front and rear ARB's fitted

Even with a XE
