Gearbox for a nova e16se

ok i have searched but admit not spent alot of time on it as i need an answer as soon as possible really if thats ok

my gearbox has given up on my e16se engined mini before even hitting the road! took the end cover off and the gears are sheered and mangled
now my gearbox just has f13 written on it and nothing on the end plate
i beleive nova 1.6's were fitted with close ratio f13 5 speed gearboxes?

so do i need a close ratio f13 box?
or what other gearbox options do i have and do any of you guys have any!

Reason for urgency is that its currently at my grandads stuck in gear and iv got a week to sort it before he moves and having a working gearbox makes my life a whole lot easier,plus i have lost so much sleep on this and untill its sorted its just going to play on my mind!

you need the f13cr or even an early f15cr from a corsa b

the other f13 boxes from the astra mk3 etc with the wide ratio (wr) will also fit, but you do lose acceleration but gain n top end

You will struggle to find a Nova with an F13 in a week, get to scrappers and look round Mk3 Astras (particularly 1.6 models) and Corsa Bs (mainly SRi/Sport/GSi)

Due to the urgency I would just get what you can and worry about ratios later on :thumb:
