Heater Maytrix Has Gone In My Nova And Was Just Wondering If Anyones Done One Before And How Hard Is It?
Thanks Ryan
It's really easy mate couple of bolts and wires aslong as it's a direct replacement! Just remember where the wires go when you take it off!
You have to take the dash out and the 2 pipes from the bay but its not to hard on a Nova, Now try a range rover p38 there a bit ****!
Pretty easy on the novas, a real **** on a 306 lol

If it's a mk1 dash the. It's very easy, take off the dash undertray, unbolt the plastic box In the centre, and it's there and straightforward. I have no clue on A mk2 dash tho
Is it just the heater rad gone that's easy few screws around the bottom of the heater box and two pipes and pull it out

The dash does not have to come out on a mk1 or mk2 take both undertrays out, remove both pipes in bay, remove 4 7mm bolts in heater box under dash two in passenger side two in drivers side then it will all come out

If your matrix had gone you'd have a car full of water/steam (depending when it failed) I'd check EVERYTHING else before the heater matrix :)

Its either sludged up & not conducting the heat to the passing air flow or the cable adjuster from the dash knob/slider is broken & not moving the air flap above the matrix.
2nd option is easiest to fix. Matrix can be swapped in situ but I'd flush it out before resorting to swapping it.
