Any gen on people using these as opose to C20XE head, as allegedly there better :confused: :confused:

Can't see how there better the bottom ends are virtually the same yet the engine only produces 136bhp as opposed to the xe 150 so unless the inlet is stupidly restrictive I'd say the xe one was better

its down to valve angle. the xe's valve angle is wide so it has a more hemispherical chamber, the xev runs a tighter angle so the chamber is flatter. according to various tuners sbd to name one, the xevhead is better for torque, and doesnt need porting till 220bhp. plus its newer and more compact. downside? the stock xev inlet and ecu are massively restrictive, and the cams are a soft grind. if it was me, id use the xev head and itbs....
