Stearing Wheel Problems

i have just purchased a sparco Wheel but im having trouble getting the old crappy standard one off!!! does any one know how to remove it

try gettin a hammer and tapping it off,



or sum garge will be able to pull it off the have a tool called.....wait 4 it............the steering wheel puller :wink:

How i did mine: -

Remove horn bit in centre

Undo nut,

Put both feet on steering wheel and stamp on it

Pull wheel and should come off

If not stamp on it some more!

lol i cant belive how many times a week people ask this, they are an absoloute twat to remove, i have taken loads and loads off, i have hit them stamped on them pulled them tried everything.

You are best off getting the puller, its ?14 to get the correct one, it will take 1 minute with the puller or a day by fighting with it.

Quick tip if you attempt to pull it off then loosen the nut off then just thread it back on until its just on there otherwise when you tug it off it will smack you in the nose- it does happen a lot!
