Xe stops on start

My nova xe stops wen tryin 2 start it and starts turning over again

It starts after ages but keeps stopping when it's cranking

Do you mean the starter spins then stops when you hold the key round the whole time.

its still really not making sense. Explain it properly.do you mean it starts after ages of trying to crank the engine, but then sometimes it just stops cranking when you've been trying for a while... im not sure if that even makes sense to be honest!

Yea it stops cranking when iv been tryin 4 ages and cranks agen and I havnt turned the key off

mine was doing this, new battery solved it

Will either be a bad earth or the starter overheating from excess cranking.

Or the brushes in the starter itself may be warn
