depends on rim rim width and offset, plus std/rolled or cut rear arches
I couldn't run 185/60/14's on 6" rims and 49 offset (I believe) with a 40mm drop, OS rear arch (std) kept clipping the tyre
Had to go to std ride height
175-50-14's :thumb: Profile will be way out for your speedo but gives a nice low profile and doesn't look too balloony, while not being too bad width wise either.
currently i have 195/50/15 on mk3 astra wheels and it does scrub slightly at the rear and when on full lock at the front
i know i could go 45's but wanna go to 14"

I have 195/6014 on mine, and mine rubs on the rear arch. But that could be due to a soft spring lol
I want to drop it no more than 60mm
I'd love a set of 45's... Anyone got any like this??
Sorry for the hijack Swedge, least it's almost the same question as yours :p

165 60 14
185 55 14 are a close match for the speedo to work properly. Looks well on these without sacrificing too much comfort.

I am running 185/60/14 on mine which is lowered about 50mm. Arches are not rolled and all lips are still present. Only ever catches on passenger side front when cornering really hard.
