Used full slicks for the first time yesterday and OMFG UNBELIEVEABLE!! lol

Had a trackday/evening down brands Hatch in my Dad's M3 CSL. Had done a few track days down there and at bedford too in it before so sorta getting use to the car abit more now.

He was running Michellin pliot Sports which are ok, but his mate had a set of 18" TD pro race 2's with full slicks (fronts off the porsche cup cars)

The grip is amazing round clear ways and druids esp. Was allover the back of a 59 plate rs6 but has the power too pull away enough in the straights :( .

Still not got the balls to turn the TC off as its not mine to bin in a tyre wall lol!!

Question is are there rules/regulations in running slicks on track days at other circuits or is it upto the driver??

Will post up some piccys as soon as i get them:thumb:

Thought you had to have a rollcage if you were running slicks

Some you do need a roll cage, some you don't. Probably worth a call before you go to them to check :)
