On doing the rear disc conversion, what parts of the handbrake do i want off each car?, is it the Nova going to the back, then nova to the drivers wheel? and Cavalier Mk2 nearside to the nearside of the nova? have i got this right? and what litre mk2 cavalier and year? if anyone knows?

bttt
i joke i joke lol
Its the long nova cable to the passenger rear wheel, the mk2 cavalier estate cable to the drivers side. You can use the normal mk2 cav short cable but will need to extend the threaded bar. Ive not used a estate cable myself so im not 100% on it fitting first time

lol i got upset for a second and realised Im sure that will have something to do with the other thread, just surprised nobody replied for so long. i will see if i can get hold of one or the other, does it matter on engine size or year the cable? and its the drivers side mk2 cav im after
1.6 1986 i think i said when i got one, cant remember was a few years ago.
Hopfully benn will reply, he knows
Ah ha.
Yea, a 1.6 86 mk2 Cav estate cable fits. There should be 3 lengths, you want the middle one as the thread bar is longest on that one.
Nova long to the pass side, Cav one to the drivers.

Pretty sure i have listed the part numbers needed in the thread in here. Got mine from Euro Car Parts.
I can get you the First line part numbers if you want.
