Right, seeing as I am a Mk1 nova man, I haven't a clue on this.
Are the dials in a Mk2 the same 5 dial set up as a Mk1?? Obviously ignore the SR dials etc, just the plan bog standard 5 dial set up.

Not worried if they fit ot not at the moment.
Got any pics of the Mk2 ones so I can compare?
i think he means do they look the same i.e. not the fitment
Thought this was going to be a thread about brought and bought lol
The casing that the dials sit in is different between Mk1 and mk2, as is the multiplug connector on the back. Not sure about the dial faces though (I know early early ones are different)? Lemme have a nose for some pics. One mo....
[edit] Seems the Mk1 dials have flat mouldings whilst the Mk2 has raised mouldings, but the dial faces themselves seem the same?

The very early Mk1 dials with the yellow needles etc are different again mind.

they all use the same sender units for the dials so they have to give the same reading so i cant imagine there should be a problem except the lugs on the mk2 that are used to screw it down, wise idea really cause the the mk1 dash is the nosiest thing since the trombone!
I have MK1 SR clocks in my MK2 dash (in my SR) and although there is nothing to screw them to, they do just nestle in the dash being held in with the cowel and the speedo cable, and they never move or rattle. the only time you would know is when you reset the trip, and the bottom moves back 1/2 an inch.
