Engine will bolt in on nova mounts, you need the ecu, key chip and pick up ring from the donor car, you need to modify the exhaust system to line up to the downpipe. you also need a speed sensor off of a corsa b sri/ nova 1.2 spi to stop the engine cutting out at junctions etc.
you may need the later gearbox too.
Thanks what do you mean about pick up ring and also how hard is the wiring to do
The engines are about 101bhp standard arent they
Also what gearbox is best to use for speed and economy but still cable drive speedo

you can use either a f13 or f15 on them, the wiring is fairly simple about 10 wires to join IIRC they are about 100 bhp but a lot more can be gained by changing the inlet manifold.
What top speed do the f13 and f15 gearboxes have. Does anyone know

if u not sure on wires mate use a c16xe loom+ecu dont need the key and transponder then. it is easy to wire up the x16xe thow to be fair sure there is a diagram on here sumwhere.
both around an indicated 120-125mph. I would go for a F15 though !
What about f10 would that fit with smaller clutch and flywheel
Think so but would probably die shortly after, they fit big clutchs and heavier gear boxes for a reason.
ok thanks does anyone know about the fuel lines i know they need changing but does a fuel pump need fitting somewhere and also what about all the sensors on the engine if i use the 1.6 loow and then splice it into my nova wiring will all the senors work but also are there any i can get rid of because i will not need them.
Iv been looking into this conversion myself and i found a thread in the articles section of the forum that you may find helpfull, its a rough guide but tells you what you need and what you need to change, hope this helps :)

at a push on a WR box maybe. Mine 'apparently' tops out at 115 on a CR with 140bhp

sorry, but totally wrong......
the f10 will not fit a 16xe lump. end of discussion. the starter & flywheel is further out, it is incompatable.
the f 13 innards are the same as all post 1985 f10 innards.... so they are just as strong.......
