R Reg corsa 1.2 electrical problems

iHey its not a nova but close enough

Having a few electrical gremlins with the father in laws corsa R plate

Its been mucking about with not wanting to start, and having to be jumped from a booster pack.

Now today its totally failing to start today, So i got him to flash the fault codes on it But for some reason it has a 16pin adsl plug which according to topbuzz mean it has Simtec 56.5 system which is coming up with a code 85 immobiliser wrong signal, but he only has the one key.

Anyone any ideas

try putting a good battery on.. corsas seem to throw up imobiliser codes when the batterys goosed

just what i was about to say, sounds like the batteries goosed

i dont think the eml would show up anything to do with the battery/starter/alternator side of things
