Coming home from work yesterday passing few cars on trailers so popped along to Loton Park for a nosey this morning as its only about half hour from where i live.

It certainly is, 850-odd bhp and 800kg, together with some hugely sophisticated 4WD gear and electronics, it's far and away the quickest 'tin-top' car in the UK, and probably the World.

there must have been some noise off of that quattro !

that mini must be from around about where i live as its got a sticker saying east ayrshire car club on the wing and i live in north ayrshire :d

Dont think there is much 'tin / metal' in the shell of this Puma :)

Never saw it with the bonnet up/off.
Saw it few years back & if memory serves me correct its a Ford engine from the RS200 group B Rally cars.

There's none - it's a carbon fibre shell to be fair!

Yes, based on the BDT RS200 Evolution motor, although obviously massively re-worked since the mid-80's Group B days.

Mike Endean (the owner) reckons he has £500k in the Puma, and that's using his own companies to do most of the R & D work. He reckons that if he'd had to start work from scratch wihout access to the facilities he has at his disposal, it would be a £1,000,000 car.........

i would love to see that car in person, only seen a quick clip of it on a free DVD i got with a mag years ago all i remember is it was 2.2 ? twin turbo 600+ HP.

That pug looks awesome with the tuned mi16 lump, my mate has a standard mi16 in his and its awesome pushing 185 bhp and it weights just under 850kg.
