May be an obvious question, but what are the wheels that are on the sports?
Hard to come by etc?

Should be put in the bin IMO

Fooks knows why they put that horrible large bus wheel on as standard, 3 spoke SR wheel should of been on there

When I drove Steve's Sport with the big wheel the steering felt nice and light.

The 2 spoke is a correct factory fit Sport or 'base' item ;)

Iirc they have the 3 spoke, and by the looks of them in pictures they have a suede ring.

Lmfao, pretty sure you guys would be upset if someone GSi'd and XE'd a sprt and said that they thought GM had fitted the wrong kit and engine in it in the first place though:p

Although my mates just bought a 2.8 V6 vectra elite on an 06 plate, 2.8 V6 Turbo, donor anyone, ill sacrifice the disastra to errr, persaude my mate his car doesnt need to be on the road anymore:thumb:

If I ever got a sport, it would be seam welded up, decked, GSi'd up, and with a decent engine :thumb:

Its been done, my friend fitted a 1.6 GSi engine, sprayed it met green, glued black material over the sport seats.

And longdogcharlie has whats left of it;)

Ooh dear poor thing, mind you my mate inherited a sport that had been sprayed blue and had a GSi front bumper on it aswell, is the one you were on about the one that became mr Charlie's 4x4?

No it is another one, Charlie's Sport has been a Valver for many years, which he has now converted to 4x4 LET

Why go to the hassle of blanking off the radio, side air vents and loosing a speed of the fan to keep them 'original' then ditch the orginal wheel?
