simply pay an arm & a leg for it, or you don't get the certificate to get cheap insurance.

Can get a Cat 1 Cobra or similar alarm and immobilser fitted for around £130 now! What exactly do you want (expect) ?! lol

Fit it properly yourself then get an inspection to sign it off and get a certificate :d

best way to do it. you will have to pay the inspector but should be all good, depends what you want to fit. i have a full proper diagram for a clifford g5 concept 650mk2 which you wont be able to find anywhere!!! plus i got cliffnet as well which is always handy

i was going to do that as all you do immobilise the starter signal and ignition live? then give the alarm power, hook up to indicators? am i wrong or on the similar lines?

whats the best place to get the alarm? and where can i get an inspector from?

I found a lot of local places weren't willing to verify a DIY install. Ones that would wanted 50+. In the end my insurance didn't want a cat1,cert and just proof of it being fitted
