building a cheap autotest corsa with some parts off the rally car untill i can finish the build.
will i be able to keep the standard tank in, disconnect the eletrics to the internal pump in the tank and connect an external fuel pump mounted in the car?
is there a return pipe on the 40s back to the tank?
thanks
get a swirlpot for the front & keep the std gear.

will need to investigate into what a swirl pot is first....
a tank with feed in & return from the main tank, and then a feed to the carbs.. you might also need a fuel pressure regulator

I'm doing a similar thing, I was going to use my spi tank with built in swirl pot and 1.6 16v fuel pump, run a switched live to the pump, and use a low pressure regulator to drop the pressure to correct level for carbs and t in a return.

You'll have far too much pressure in the system in my opinion. Injected systems often run at 40psi in standard form, where your Websters only want about 2-3psi.
Best to gut the pump out of the tank, then re-plumb it all using a Facet Silver-top or Red-top pump from the tank to the 40's via a filter-king regulator/filter. A Facet Solid State pump may be plenty good enough for Autotest.
