Any of you guys know if all nova speedo cables are the same for example a 1.2 cable will fit a 1.6 ? need a new cable asap,

my clocks are making a squeaky noise which gets faster when i speed up,any ideas ? how much for the cable ?

be the cable not the dash, n set it standing up poor lots of oil in it, n then leave it over night to drip through

Would spraying wD40 down the cable while it's still in the car work ?

It will fill up with WD eventually or drip into the gearbox oil. You can remove he inner wire\speedo bit out from the dash end and clean then poke back in.

Cool so just use like long nose plyers and pull the inner bit out isit ?

avoid using wd40 for long term lubrication.. its designed to get water away & clean something up.. use something more like petroleum jelly on the cable inner....

thanks for the tip mate, so like i said just use long nose pyers to pull the inner out ? dont wanna brake it as need the car for pvs this weekend ?

Tommy, mine pulled out with pliers, just don't grab the plastic bit on the end and pull:thumb:

not to bad, just roll the car before you plug it back in the clocks to make sure it moves. Worst case, unscrew the gearbox end and push back in:thumb:
