Hi, i'm wondering if 15x6 steel wheels from a astra f and Toyo r888 195/50-15 wil fit whit the car lowered around 50-60?

Will the wheels rub on the wheel arches and inner wall?

Anybody on this forum running this setup?

Mine did, on -60mm springs, I fitted 195/ 45 R15s and this stopped it!

damn, so the 000/05 extra made it touching the arches?

Do you think that 45-50mm springs would make room for 195/50 R15s?

The thing with R888 & AO48's is the sidewall is massive & if you actually look at the spec for these tyres there actually about 203mm ish wide not 195 as per sidewall.

I can vouch for 195 50 15 Kumho V70A fitting on a 6x15 et49 wheel on a nova without clearance issues.

Thanks

Thanks! you have tried the 195 50 15 Kumho V70A on a 40-50mm lowered nova?

As said, 888s are massive tyres.
They will rub without arch mods

That is 195 50 15 Kumho V70A fitting on a 6x15 et49 on your car without any mods on the wheel arches?

What suspension are your running on that?

Front no mods as such.
Rear arch lip was ground back asfar as the spot welds about 15yrs ago before rolling became the norm, but i think they would fit as near as with no mods.

Suspension - Rear Gaz coilovers, Front Harry Hockly Bilstein coilovers.

Here is the sizes from Kumho site:
Overall dia 578mm
overall width 192mm
tread width 180mm
opt rim 6"
Rim width 5.5-7"
Rev/mile 886
