advertising for a friend, i know very little about this other than it goes like a scalded cat, engine really does pull strong and it's probably the quietest xe i've ever heard - no tapping.

Personally I think it's been ruined with the facelift and colour change but each to their own I suppose, no offence intended obviously personal opinion.
I bought it as an XE and was going to LET it and re-fit a GTE interior bur circumstances forced sale unfortunately, was a good shell iirc.
Good luck with the sale, I'd love it back to restore it but haven't got the time/cash.
im not a fan of mk2 conversions either but as you say 'to each their own' the owner is a sound chap and it will have been looked after in the important ways. cheers for posting those pics up!
