There was a bloke at work (retired last year), was Fred's biggest fan!

He used to do our heads in lol

Trying to lend us Fred books and DVDs, etc :(

All very weird..

The thing I liked about Fred's style was it gave the chiminey a last smoke before it died, kind like a farewell, in one of the videos he talks about the chimnineys as friendly or scarey, much like they have character.

Truly he had a love of his job and way of life.

Fred Dibnah was ace, i used to watch repeats of the docu-series they did on him in the 70's when i was little with my dad, what a character he was:thumb:

Fred Dibnah was a fair man to say the least. As an engineer I have insane amounts of respect for him..

Wish I was born abit earlier than I was so I could have met him hahaha
