Id drive there to save damage if the panels were expensive. I'd try dhl as they delivered my vespa parts from germany very cheap

Postage can be expensive, I've had bent wings, Iain and Kieth both had damaged doors via postage, IMO it's just not worth it,

Oh and bare in mind you will pay even more due to to a highlands postcode.

On the otherhand some say they have never had a problem,

I'd say you'd pay around £200 for delivery of a quarter panel due to your location.

mmm They've got a rear panel on there just now for 50euro. Thought the germans would have bubble wrap!?! Postage is a nightmare where we are Bazil but yet why's it different from any where else in the world.

No way I'm going to ever get across there, just to busy at home. Anyone else bought and had problems with them??

Ive had a rear panel arrive with no probs a door also

I normally buy the item then sent a message via contact seller asking for a invoice with the postage included the pay them via paypal, I've also sent messages in german and English using a language converter

I'll drive over and pick panels up for enough money, just for future reference.

You need to make a trip over worthwhile though. Its alright saying, 'just go over'. Unfortunately its not that easy. All told with van rental, insurance, fuel and the boat(costs more for a van and my trip was a bank holiday weekend) my trip came to about £400. Not sure how much Basil spent?!?
You need to buy bulk and sell some on to break even IMO

I was just shy of £700 lol

that's only on van hire, ferry crossings, and fuel,

then you still have to buy the parts and if you don't get them sold or the buyers pull out your easily out £1000

In order to make the actual fuel costs etc less of an impact you need to pick up more parts so the value of the cargo makes the costs more worthwile...

I'd be in for 2 pairs of front wings? lol

Just a quick calculation works out at £1740 for fuel to take a HGV, that's basing it on £1.20 per litre

Postage for easy damaged parts is a bad idea, it would be best going in person but its not cheap so make it worth your while and get all the parts you need at once and try get spare to sell on to try cover some of your costs.

It's not cheap but its the best way if your wanting your parts without any risk of damage to them

I think you will find the silver wheels belong to the front trailer, so it works the same as a cab.
