what 5th gear will fit this box as i want a long 5th

Why a longer ratio? If you have a CR gearbox then just get a standard WR one.

in english, is the f15 box that you have, a close or wide ratio?? if it is a close (CR) then you can fit the wide ratio(WR) fifth gear set. if you already have a wr box, then get some bigger tyres.

I remember having a 87 cav lxi and thats the box or 5th gear i think you want. Nice low revs on the motorway. Not sri must be lxi. Anyone know what went in those cars?

an f20 box.... so it won't fit without modifications.

my nova is a td and the f15 is off a 1.4 8v corsa sport as my f13 box is funked and the 5th gear on the f15 some of the teeth have cracked

stick the 5th in out of the f13

5th in the f13 is cr i want something that will allow me to do 70-80 at low revs insted of it sreaming its ass off

just get an f13/f15 wr box. the ratios are way better suited to a diesel engine.

Yeah, dont they normally come with a 3.55 diff too on a diesel? no wonder it is screaming lol.
