I thought you had to have one for all bengals or at least til F4, tbh i think its just more hoops for pet owners to jump thru, My wife wanted a new cat after we came back of our honeymoon, so we got a Toyger (at a cost of :cough: £1200) and the amount of legal paperwork we had to complete for ownership was ridiculous, like stating we would be resbonsible for personal liability insurance, the cat wont go out, claws will be trimmed at least once a week etc etc

Bengals are basicaly the wildest domestic cat you can get, they don't have hair like normal cats but a pelt like tigers etc, fcuking awesome cats, I've also read they should be fed raw meet now and then as part of their diet as a diet of pure domestic cat food is bad for them.

I'll pass that info on to my mother I'm sure we have an f3. Did have an f2 many moons ago but it was so timid. (sp?)

The Bengal cat as we know it came from breeding a small wild cat with a domestic cat. So if I had an f2 his grandad would be an actual wild cat. My mum was one of the 1st people to breed bengals in the country. She breed Persians and Burmese cats before these. I prefer the Burmese myself.

Bugger all your Pedigree cats, here's my youngest Cat free from our neighbours (farmers). Inbred by 2 generations and it's mother is Feral. Should make a nice rat catcher when it grows up, that's if it doesn't sprout another set of legs due to it's criss cross family tree.

If you want dangerous you should see the cats we have around the farm, They even spit at you.....:eek:

They bring back badgers and fox cubs and would die for the chance at any of our dogs! Nasty things......

One our cats had a feral mother. Needless to say it is nuts!!!
