I have one with a pug gti lump in, not bad at all

They are fast 'cos they weigh bugger all . All the panels are as thin as rizzal paper and the tailgate is glass with a fibreglass bottom.

I remember seeing one where someone had some steel pipe in the back and had shut the tailgate and the pipe had gone clean through the tailgate panel and was sticking out the back lol lol lol

I though nova's had a lot of metal on show on the inside, then I got into an AX !!

That interior is so retro it hurts.

LOL at the steering wheel though. Looks like it has a massive knob in it. Which is handy, as most of the old AX GT's round here used to be driven by knobs.

Sorry but i have yet to find any one who likes the mk1 dash its in mine,and its grey like the designers clothes/hair that made it.

i did drive a base model ax a few times, and it seemed to be made of thin air & not much else...

having had a decent sized crash in a nova, i'd still say the nova was better built

had one years back, with a rallye 106 box and a set of bike carbs. went well.

btw the gt and gt500 are carb'd the gti is injected. the vtr block and head fit in place of the 1.4 if you kill it.

My mate has had a couple, a gt500 and a gti,I think they're pretty cool. He used to spank my old nova in the 500 when we were 17. The Uno turbo is another fun little car, albeit one that rusts even worse than novas and is a ****ing death trap.
