Black/Yellow
the small blue/red
Grey/Green

And a Brown. (Earth)?


These are coming out of the hole in the passanger side of the engine bay..

you driving a DERV?

Black/yellow is usually an ignition 12+ feed
and brown is usually Ground

the others depend on their location..

its a track car project its got a c20xe in. (already fitted) and x 1.5 d van

and there location is as above been choped from the gromitt neer passanger side frir wall in engine bay, the controller thing is in passager foot well.

and is that a switched ignition feed or constant? i thought it was pure black? from my knowladge

also should my c20xe be imoberlised? as i cant see how they have disarmed it. as i am having starting problems and want to cross that out.

theres your answer, its the glowplug/fuel heater controller for DERV

switched, just get ye old multimeter/testlamp to check

tbh im not sure, but am sure someone else can help you with your xe, im more of a heavy oil man me self :d

and hmm theres also pure black ones that are switched whats the meaning for the yellow stripe is it just because its corasponded with something diferent? (sorry for all questions lol)

bump also the plug going to the ignition AMP under the coil has 3 wires going in.. 2 black 1 brown witch of these is switched live?

Red is always permanent live, Black is ignition switched live, black/yellow. Is relay switched live brown is aways ground, but best to always check incase someone drcided they didnt like those colours lol

ok then mate what could the 2 blaks be? going into same clip but with differednt terminals
