I was going to suggest it sounds like Beasties. It's in the 'turbos' Gallery on here too.

It handles the power really well, is it still a similar spec to the features profile on here? What box is it runnin?

Cheers keith

He's on an F20 with sccr gears/diff same as mine etc. Engine spec is mild and phase 2 Graeme unless its changed that is. I know he's altered his final drive again in the last few years as he mentioned it on my thread a while back.

I've seen a few of their videos and he certainly does drive it hard.... I think they've had their fun on the show circuit years ago and now they drive the cars a lot more without really being bothered about keeping them as spotless as they once did. After all the years some of that group has owned them particular cars Im sure they've had their moneys worth which is great as its not something we can all say, Myself included! lol

Graeme..... I do believe Garys brother Kristan (corsakid) still has the F20sccr with diff at a reasonable price If it interests you? How many loons have you seen with sccr? ;)

Nick.

My mate that showed me the video is completely anti-nova and has had some very quick cars over the years. We were both very suprised how well it handles and puts the power down

I agree completely with Nick's comments, about them being iconic cars from the show scene and now them being used as track cars, i hope mine once finished lol lasts as long.

I think also that i'm more of a fan of the 6 speed for a fast road car, but for a dedicated track car the sccr looks a lot more fun

Nah i just think that its actually shocking that for a car thats had a let in it longer than most cav turbos, and was an xe before that, that its still an undeclared and therefore illegal conversion:eek:

Edd
30-05-11, 03:38 PM
Maybe, surely the owners problem tho ?

Plus when it was converted did anyone back then change the V5 ? I didn't and know many others

So the first thing you decided to do when seeing the reg was to check the engine size with DVLA ?

Spudly
30-05-11, 03:42 PM
Nah i knew anyways, someone told me years back iirc cant remember now though lol

But in all fairness i often have a nosey into whether or not conversions have been registered or not:p

Edd

lol is wrong I agree

And before anyone jumps on the attack with me, even when i was young and stupid and tended to drive my old xe as seen here (http://www.pngclub.com/forum/viewfeaturecar.php?ref=3076), like a nob, the first thing i did when i got it was register it as a 2.0 :p

I agree with spud here, makes the rest of us look like tards as the club will just get a reputation as being a gang of gutter snakes who basically have no insurance.
Nice cars that are worth fukk all on paper springs to mind

love nova's on the track, even more when they get ahead of "super" cars.

The cars local to me. Used to see it at festival park now and again back in the day!! Very impressive car and the noise of the box is awesome!! I remember the feature in tv a few years back and they were saying it's some what of a mythical car around here some people say he's sold it, some say broke for bits. Then you'll just catch a glimse of it about 1 day.. Always been 1 of my favourite novas with it being local and having a let in it all those years ago. Don't think the owner comes on here much at all though.
