Today i fitted the New handles and look Great ! , Also got all the electric windows in and work perfect , and wax oiled in the door cards .

Just need to fit the door cards back on , Then it goes for a MOT :)

Today i took the car down to the garage to sort a few things out before the MOT tomorrow , I got a new Cambelt , waterpump , thermostat fitted , oil and filter and an anti freeze changed , Also sorted out the exhaust because it wasn't sitting right. Anyway it's all sorted out for the MOT.

Cheers mate, well I've got a sparco strut brace to put on, maybe try and find a set of early mudflaps and then next year I'll probably strip it down again and get everything powdercoated and put on an early boot and an Sr spoiler and then the snowplough, also get all the bumpers etc sprayed upol mid grey

If your going for early boot & sr spoiler then its not origonal is it so you may aswel take the bumpstrips off too.
If you get em off well you can always put em back if you change your mind

Right. .. I have decided too keep the nova in a storage and will use it for summers and in storage for the winters, will be getting a daily soon. I will be stripping the nova down again to powdercoat everything etc. .. Also take the engine paint also and get abit of the paintwork sorted. Also adding a few extras as such as the snowplough and spraying in upol mid grey as will all the bumpers etc

Mk5 golfs are great cars. I have one :d. Just check it for rust. I have just had both front wings replaced through volkswagon as they give you a 12 year corrosion warranty. They can rust in other places aswell. Google it to find out more :thumb:.

Only problem with shipping containers is the amount of condensation you get with them being metal. We had a couple at my old work and they always had moisture on the walls and roof.

Haven't posted on here for a while now , anyway the nova is still in the unit , will be coming out in a couple of weeks too a mates garage , will do getting a couple of things to it , basically just clean it all up and will be lowering more and fitting some new parts to it etc. I will be coming to the performance Vauxhall show on the stand , will be ordering some tickets soon.

Them wheels are sex! Guessing they are old school Vaux unfriendly? My aunty has one of them Polo's. They can be made too look real sweet and massive choice of rims due to the VAG-ness.

Went up to the garage yesterday and i decided to take the orange tape off the bumpers and side mouldings, As i going to put it back to the original red , which i have in the loft somewhere , Also i going to spray the bumpers Upol Mid-Grey

Also brought a New OMP corsica steering wheel , which should be here tomorrow :)

Went down to do a few things to the nova today , first i put in the Euro fog light in which i think looks much better , Then i thought i needed to do something with the interior , so i went and brought a OMP Corsica steering wheel , made the interior look much better

Hopefully have a big update soon , as i have a few plans for it

Done a little bit on the nova today after work , Got the car on axle stands so i can start cleaning all the arches off. So its all ready to be built back up when the new coilovers arrive , Also getting the rear arches rolled soon

Update - I re-did the front two arches in white again and did the back ones aswell today , Also i'm booked in for next Friday to roll my rear arches ready for my ultra low coilovers to be fitted

Going PVS on sunday but not in the nova, Hopefully i can make Billing in july

Got my arches done on friday afternoon , i was pleased how they turned out as they are a hard arch to roll, They is a few chips when doing it as i expected so it will go straight to the bodyshop when built up, Will be building it all up when the new Gaz coilovers in the week

Update - when fitting the last Gaz suspension kit I bought i realised the kit wouldnt run as low as i would like without running on the bump stops, So after speaking to Gaz Direct they sorted me some Ultra low gaz kit and Thanks to Nick J for sorting out the best setup etc,i had problems fitting the eccentric top mounts as the bolts wasnt lining up with the top mounts correct , so i had to modify it slightly , Anyway i finally fitted them tonight , All i need to do now is set them all up now and go much lower ! ,

Hello mate, company called archenemy, there is one from Derbyshire that's who did mine, yhh they did a good job as it's a hard arch to roll, but just need a touch up

Hey Guys

Went up today to set all the coilovers up right , which went really well and I'm happy with the front staying as they are, Just might go a little bit more on the rears , Since the rears arches have been rolled its gave me loads of clearance between the tyre and arch , Also i think i going to keep the bumper tape off as i think it looks better , Or put the original red back on

Yes their is..... We'd worked this out on my car hence why I shelled out for another kit. Crazy amounts of adjustment too... Even with mine as low as it is theirs still plenty of adjustment for a lot more lows.

Cheers mate, you can probably get a set around the £500 mark but I paid abit more as I got eccentric top mounts, I don't know the ride yet as havnt drove it yet
