Right ive got a borrowed sealey mig 185 and ive ran out of wire.

Cant get hold of who i borrowed it off but im off to tool station to get some more wire but in the instructions it lists it will take 0.6mm and 0.8mm

What is the better size to get????

cheers joe

I've always got the 0.8mm stuff

If it's a sealey welder just remember to change the feed wheel to the correct thickness

Get a bottle of gas while your there only a tenner

Just read the instructions and seen it says about the feed wheel,

Does it say on the feed wheel what size ?

I will replace the drum of wire with the same size i was using yesturday i thinks

also there is a big bottle of gass with the welder already

It doesn't say on the wheel but the thin groove is the 0.6 and the larger one is 0.8 :) but yeah just get what you were using

You more confident with a welder now then ?

i prefer .8 but as its not yours i would replace it with what was on there

Depends what tip you have in too, check what's stamped on the tip
