if its a bosch setup, then it has no 'chip'

of course it has a chip

jetronic doesn't, well, not one that can be modified, it needs resistors swapping, & i have no clue what to

It's not a bosch unit it's a Delco or a Siemens can't remember which. I've posted before the innards (it's the same brain as the SRi with a different map). The map chip is socketed and is rather nicely an erasable prom chip.

I have a 'chipped' ecu for e16se. Which I think is bosch.

the e16se has 2 controllers, the fuel controller on the AFM, and the ignition controller on the bulkhead. the rev limit is controlled in the bulkhead one, and the fueling is contolled on the AFM, neither can be chipped, but by fitting different resistors, can be tweaked a bit..

yeah the rev limiter has been played with in the bulkhead ecu
