View Full Version : Tie bar lowering for F28
Right im still in need of buying the items to do this and just seen this from protec on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Nova-Rose-Jointed-Tie-bar-Bkt-Kit-/160496824262?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item255e5b2fc6).
Will this lower the tiebars??
Cheers Joe
Will lower them at the front, Not sure if its enough for a F28 as people normally lower them at the back (insted of or aswell I can't remember).
Most prople just use the lowering blocks at the front....

*shameless plug* i have x2 alloys blocks for sale......
They only go lower 18mm them protec brackets
so are them rosejointed front mounts enough to lower it then get some spacers made up for the bottom arm end to run the tie bar on the bottom??
Need to order them up you see
iirc the protec mounts are to pre-wind the arb to cause anti-dive and help stiffen the arb and help with manifold clearance, check out benns on going bild thread for his lowering meathod when fitting a F28, its near the end of the thread
Right im going to order up the Protec front tie bar mounts i thinks
Now all i need is some blocks to lower it at the rear
They only go lower 18mm them protec brackets
Is that enough at the front for an F28???
right i ordered them anyway, now all i need is blocks for the bottom arm end
