Cool, wierd how saloons are cheaper than hatches, you get more for your money! Guess they knew from the start the hatch was going to be the main version.

I took a year out of the workshop in 1989 and can remember selling a load of 1.0 litre nova base models on the £99 down and 47 subsequent monthly payments deal Vauxhall had going on..
Couldn't keep up with the demand..
Where did all those pushrodders go?

inflation of about 150% ish, i remember something on TV not that long ago about what things cost back then and what you can get for that now (in todays money) and how better off the deals are and what you get for the money, only reason i remembered is because they said 1984 (the year i was born)
im no expert but must be over 9k
I was watching an old police camera action last night, it was weird seeing the streets full of retro cars everyone is now after lol
