Just got back from a lovely relaxing short break in the Lake Disrict. Stopped in a fantastic place which was recommended by a member on another forum.
I can highly recommend it if anyone wants a short break, great breakfasts aswell:thumb:

Anyways, absolutely slung it down Monday Morning, so much so I hit a rather large puddle which disconnected both of my leccy folding mirrors and folded them back lol. Because of the rain we went to the Lakeland Motor Museum which wasnt too bad, there was a nice Mk1 Mexico in there, a Rover SD1 Vitesse(One for Royston) and a lovely 33k mile Manta GTE Exclusive that looked as if it was a local car.

Oh, and arguably the best thing to do to a Corsa, chop it in half lol

So, the surprises.....
Saw a Bugatti Veyron driving through the Centre of Keswick, reg W1 GSX or something like. Made his miliions from hair pieces possibly!?! The Veyron was smaller than I expected and was very quiet.
Went out on a boat trip on Windermere and heard a rumble in the distance.
The RAF's finest decided to put on a little display through the valley with a couple of what I think were Eurofighters. Absolutely fantastic to watch and one was upside down I think at one point. They were very low!
Jap tourists nearly fell of the front of the boat trying to get pics lol
About 30 mins later we got a second show, nice end to the holiday.
This is the second holiday I have had a flypast. Was in Sandbanks a couple of years ago and we went out on a family friends boat. Had a bit of a show from the Red Arrows!
On the way home, also saw a nice Lotus Carlton coming into Bowness
Anyways, enough of my ramblings. Back to real life.
