how do I remove mk2 front spakers

So how do I go about removing front dash speakers out of my mk2. I've took the cover off the dash and can see them and that they look like they twist. But just can't remove the do they come out the top or bottom.

They come out the bottom, they should twist out.

You might find it easier to undo the dash bolts (two screws either side, one bolt behind the glovebox and one behind the dials) and drop the dash forwards a bit to give you better access.

As above, i took those speaker grill things off the side, then screwed them out the bottom

Or pop off the speaker covers, drop the side vent out, one screw at the top and you can reach in the gap and twist it to drop it out!
