My GAZ coilovers didn't come with helper springs

What spring rates you got?

Are you sure its not hitting the bump stops? raise the ride height 10-20mm and see what difference that makes

Have you adjusted the dampness?

Mine is really bouncy when rears are turned up

Try "lightly moist" instead of "soaked" lol

It's bottoming out then, it'll be a lot worse because it's piston to strut top contact instead of bumpstops.

Raise it, increase the poundage, or make the car lighter.

Personally I prefer the 3rd option but it is the hardest.

right will give it ago any chance it will damage something if i leave it like it is until i can sort it?

You're dropping the entire cars weight onto the coilover/strut top in an impact fashion rather than it being supported, so yes, unless it's rotted it's unlikely to knock the strut top off in a short amount of time though.

It is likely to be hitting the bump stops, I didnt drop my car too low on GAZ's with 15's, yet the ride was slightly bouncy, raising it a tad more was the answer & the car felt much better.

Best I can do is show a pic of it at the lowest I would go before the bouncing became an issue. It's on 15" wheels/45 profile tyres.

This was with the GAZ's just fitted. It was too low & bounced over any small undulations in the road.

Not a great deal of differece to look at. But miles more tolerable suspension movement.

I'm 70mm higher than the lowest thread and its been fine, looks alright, and TCA is perfectly flat too

stating platform height is a little pointless without knowing the spring length and rate lol
